Thiago Cazati was born in Piracicaba, Brazil, in 1979 and obtained his Ph.D. in 2008 from institute of physics at São Carlos, University of São Paulo, Brazil, for work on charge-carrier photogeneration in conjugated polymer devices. After a postdoctoral stay in the group of Andy Monkman at the Durham University, UK, he obtained the Assistant Professor position (2009) at the department of physics, Federal University of Ouro Preto, Brazil. He is currently working on energy and charges transfer in solar cells materials and charge-carrier photogeneration processes from organic photovoltaic devices.
